Dr. Aafia Siddiqui, is a U.S.-Held political prisoner who, in 2010, was unjustly sentenced to 86 years in U.S. federal prison. #WithoutJustCause: The Case of U.S.-Held Political Prisoner Dr. Aafia Siddiqui sheds light on the U.S.’s approach to the issue of political prisoners, and the Global War on Terror’s impact on women in targeted countries. It provides an overview of the events that led to Aafia’s imprisonment, and what has happened to her since her 2010 conviction. #WithoutJustCause also exposes injustice imposed on Aafia and the other incarcerated women at “The Hospital of Horrors” FMC Carswell.
